The 2009 “Leading Edge” Annual
Convention was a huge success!
The PSOC 2009 convention held at the Kona Kai Resort in San
Diego, California was an
overwhelming success based upon
feedback from all of our sponsors,
members and general attendees
totaling160 participants!
Technical training from major manufacturers, service
management seminars given by
industry professionals along with
the great location, food and
entertainment, made for one of the
best PSOC conventions in recent
times.
The convention was kicked off with a spectacular vendor
reception sponsored by Service Power
and Kerr’s Appliance Repair
Specialists. It was held in the
ballroom overlooking the beautiful
marina. The menu consisted of a
wonderful pasta and salad bar and
whatever drinks you desired. You can
always tell how well these events go
by the attendance at breakfast the
following morning.
Technical training was provided by Barry Kokot from Sharp,
Diane Hoffmann from Reckitt
Benckiser, Roger Greenhaw and Mike
Renauldi from LG Appliance and
Electronics, Daniel Newman from
Mitsubishi, Mark Kesner from GE, Al

were outstanding this year. They
started off with WOW Your Customers
with Dave Velasquez. They continued
on with Jeff Diamond conducting Why
We Do This. Katie Williams and
Regina Lauridsen from the IRS did a
fantastic job on the IRS Do’s and
Don’ts. Eloy Fierro and Rick
Diamond presented Doing Business in
California, Jim Rushton did On Site
Service Solutions, Glade Ross hosted

to Build a Modern Service Office and
