RE:
Recognizing the impact rising fuel
cost has on our service providers,
Toshiba is implementing a fuel surcharge
payment for customer in-home warranty
service calls.
Current Procedure:
None
Revised Procedure:
Simply add the word “FUELSC” in
the part number field with “surcharge”
in the description field on a warranty
claim document with a quantity of
one.
Toshiba will determine the
amount of the fuel surcharge payment
based on the market price of fuel.
The starting payment is $5
per claim.

to eligible claims.
Toshiba will not retroactively
pay surcharge on claims missing
the surcharge part number.
